Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Warehouse Storeperson to join our dynamic logistics team in Wacol. Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, you’ll play a vital role in a our diverse warehouse and distribution operations. This is a permanent full-time role working an average of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 3:00pm
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Loading/Unloading containers and trucks
Palletising stock and wrapping pallets
Scanning of stock on receipt and into locations.
Assist in the preparation and participation of cycle counts and stocktakes
Filling in the receival paperwork correctly according to the procedures outlined
Practice safe and correct manual handling.
Contributing to a happy workplace environment and process improvement
What you will need to succeed:
Current Forklift license (essential)
Cert 3 Warehousing or ability to obtain
Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System.
Strong attention to detail with a positive attitude towards safety
Ability to work in a cooperative environment as a pro-active team player
